Buying Domains & Digital Assets
Browse our listings, click Inquire on the domain you want, and submit your offer with a short message. We respond within one business day to begin negotiation and coordinate a secure escrow transfer.
No. You can submit an inquiry without an account. Creating a free account lets you track the status of every inquiry and save listings for later.
Most domain-only deals close in 3–7 business days from accepted offer to completed transfer. Website and app deals can take 2–4 weeks depending on asset complexity.
Wire transfer is standard for deals over $10K. Escrow.com also supports credit card (with buyer-paid fees) for smaller transactions.
Your negotiation is private. Final escrow paperwork requires identity verification per escrow service policy, but we do not publish buyer information anywhere.
For select listings above $25,000, we can arrange 3–12 month installment plans through an escrow hold. Ask us directly if this is of interest.
Every Brandistries listing operates under a signed brokerage agreement that commits the seller to close at the agreed price. Backouts are rare and we absorb the reputational risk, not you.
Yes. We offer paid third-party appraisals starting at $49 per domain — useful for insurance, accounting, or independent valuation.
Most do not by default. When handles are included (brand bundles), the listing states so explicitly.
We vet every listing for known trademark conflicts and disclose any concerns before sale. Buyers are responsible for conducting their own final trademark clearance in their jurisdiction.
Selling Your Domain or Site
Go to our Sell page and complete the three-step form. We acknowledge submissions within one business day and conduct a confidential review before responding with next steps.
Yes, we buy select premium domains outright when the price and fit are right. For most submissions we offer a brokerage arrangement.
Our standard brokerage commission is 15–20% of final sale price, depending on asset complexity. No upfront listing fees for unfeatured listings.
Standard listings are free. Featured placement — top of the browse page plus a Featured badge — starts at $99/month.
Yes. We will advise on pricing based on comparable sales and market demand, but the final asking price is yours to set.
Listings stay active until sold or until you withdraw them. We typically sign brokerage agreements in 6-month renewable terms.
Yes, with standard brokerage notice. If negotiations are actively underway with a buyer, we ask you to honor any in-progress offers to final closure or decline.
We coordinate the domain push or website migration with you and the buyer. You never need to handle escrow paperwork alone.
Summary details and offer amounts are shared with you on every qualifying inquiry. We filter out low-quality or clearly unserious contacts.
There is no cost to you. You can withdraw, renew, or relist at a different price point at any time.
Pricing & Negotiations
Pricing combines comparable sales data, keyword and search volume, extension value, and brand appeal. We benchmark against major marketplaces and private broker sales.
Yes — most listings are negotiable. Submit any reasonable offer and we will represent it to the seller.
On negotiable listings we accept offers starting around 40–60% of asking price. Very low-ball offers may not be passed to the seller.
Only if you authorize it. We typically anchor around the seller's asking price unless you tell us otherwise.
Yes. We can source specific domains on your behalf for a retainer fee — useful for confidential acquisitions where you don't want sellers to know who is interested.
Across Brandistries deals, closings average 65–85% of asking price. Rare names often close at or above ask.
For larger deals we can structure installment plans through an escrow hold. Domain is typically held until final payment clears.
We support USDC and BTC on deals above $10K via an approved escrow provider.
No. The listed price is what you pay. Escrow fees are standard and shown on the escrow invoice (typically 1–3%).
Absolutely. Negotiation is a conversation — we'll relay counter-offers and rationale from both sides to help you reach terms.
Transfer & Escrow Process
We primarily work with Escrow.com, the industry standard for domain transactions. Other escrow services may be used when mutually agreed.
Buyer deposits funds with escrow. Seller transfers the asset. Buyer confirms receipt. Escrow releases funds to seller. Both parties are protected throughout.
Registrar-to-registrar push transfers typically complete in 1–3 business days. ICANN 60-day lock rules may apply if the domain was recently transferred.
Yes — we recommend Namecheap, GoDaddy, Dynadot, or Name.com. Let us know your registrar and we will coordinate the push.
We coordinate full asset handover including source code (if applicable), hosting migration guidance, and any third-party integrations. A handover call is included.
Escrow fees are typically split or paid by the buyer, depending on the deal. This is agreed in writing before funds are committed.
Escrow protects you. Funds are only released when transfer is confirmed. If there's an issue, escrow mediates per their dispute process.
For domain-only deals, transfer costs are nominal (typically free between major registrars). For website and app deals, complex migrations may incur additional fees agreed in advance.
Yes, to any ICANN-accredited registrar. We can advise on the best option based on TLD and pricing.
Every closed transaction is documented through the escrow service with an agreement summarizing terms, price, and any special conditions.
